“I love all the open communication between parents, staff and students. Even as a new family to the Branch, I know exactly what is going on. That is a great feeling!” |

At The Branch School, there is always the expectation of progress, of good, and the assumption that children are already uniquely equipped to learn. |

I'm so grateful that I was able to attend The Branch School for most of my elementary years. Love, care and encouragement were so abundant at this school that I could easily have called it a second home. The faculty at The Branch School provided so much comfort and encouragement as they gave each and every one of us the perfect amount of attention. Our classes were set up where we were able to learn at our own increasing pace, keeping us continually challenged, and never bored! I was always so excited to wake up and go to school the next day to see what new things I could learn.
Some of my favorite memories there were the unique opportunities I was presented with, such as the Houston Chronicle Spelling Bee, and the Odyssey of the Mind competition. I still remember coming back to school one day after attending the Spelling Bee and receiving a surprise poster which each of my classmates had signed. I felt even more special and loved at that moment then when I had won the class spelling bee! Most of the signatures on that poster turned out to be life-long friends whom I still talk to today!
The Branch School provided me with a light to carry on in my path throughout other public schools. I was able to view learning as a very positive activity and continue to express my god-given qualities. I'll never forget my time there, as even now it brings a smile to my face. I feel very grateful that I was provided with such a positive foundation that is evident everyday of my life. |

The undeniable truth of my education is that it has been greatly affected by my years at The Branch School. My memories span from the old school house with the big boat on the playground to singing a Smokey Robinson song to a giant foam "U" at graduation. Since then I have been fortunate enough to see the many wonderful changes in the school's program and watch class after class of my mother's kindergarten and first grade students move on from The Branch School with a hunger for knowledge and an excitement for learning.
The Branch School's emphasis on academics and creativity put me far ahead of the regular curriculum going into middle school, stayed with me at one of the top ranked high schools in the country, Cate School in California, and into the field of cinema that I am entering today. Furthermore, The Branch School inspired me to be an active problem solver and ignited the sense that learning can be fun: two traits that have served me well in film school. The dedication of the teachers and administrators reaches far beyond any school in their tireless efforts to teach peace-making skills. These skills have proved vital as I work with other filmmakers, actors, and take a leadership position in my college fraternity. I'm proud to be a graduate of The Branch School and proud to have the opportunity to share a bit about my experience.

Unconditional love and respect for (my child) allowed him the freedom and comfort to ask questions, explore the depth of his own abilities without perceived limitations and to glean the benefit of unlimited learning opportunities… |

Teachers at The Branch School truly teach to a child’s strengths. Because of the small class size in combination with the experienced level and caring nature of the teachers, lessons are crafted to benefit each child. Many schools say this happens, but I have only experienced this at The Branch School. |

At The Branch School every child is considered a gift. The teachers… love each child for who they are. This builds self-esteem, which builds self-confidence and self-love. (My child) was nurtured by loving people and has developed into a strong, capable young man.

I want to let you know how much (we) appreciate The Branch School and each of the wonderful staff members. This past weekend (my daughter) was speaking with her grandmother on the telephone. Her grandmother was asking her how school was going. (My daughter) said, "It's my favorite place to give five days a week and on some weekends I wish I could go there too." My heart was overjoyed. (We) are so pleased with the quality of education that (the teacher) brings to the classroom.
The ancillary classes, P.E., Art, Spanish, Drama, etc. are great and offer forms of expression that make (our daughter) well-developed and multi-faceted. She looks forward to each of these classes and thinks that the teachers are great.
Please offer our appreciation to the staff as we will offer our gratitude to them and to God as well for illuminating this choice for us.

My husband and I know we made the right decision in enrolling our child at The Branch School and reconfirm it daily. Our daughter loves the rules like, think positive thought about others, forgive, etc. We are very satisfied. |

I so appreciate the time and care everyone has given to help my child and I deal with this transition. Everyone has been so kind and understanding and the way everyone is so friendly and inviting makes me feel good about leaving her. |

There seems to be a consistent and sincere "inner peace" with all the staff. You all are very genuine - and we believe this is a wonderful gift to all the children. I like that there's a consistent theme each week that reinforces the concept of what they are learning. Thank you. |

We were told at our former school that our daughter was unable to understand any math concepts and that she just could not do math and probably would never excel in math. After a short time at The Branch School our daughter started to excel in math and enjoyed anything related to it. She went on to earn a national award in Kumon Math. She finished at the highest level of math completed for her grade level in the nation. The Branch School teachers were willing to spend time with our daughter and teach her in a way in which she understood and enjoyed. Our daughter has developed a love for math. Math is now her strongest subject in Middle School and she can't get enough of it. |

The Branch School has provided to our family, and most importantly, to our daughter, an environment in which she can grow and experience childhood unhindered. The adults who are part of her time spent here really “get” who she is as a child and nurture that spirit and unbridled passion with which she approaches life. While respecting her individuality, her teachers have gently guided her path and shaped her learning. The Branch School has developed in [our child] an excited, confident learner who looks forward to every school day and the promises and new experiences it holds.
The staff never ceases to amaze us with their ingenuity. Using a multi-sensory approach, classrooms become a fertile garden for the learning process of the whole child. Here the social, emotional and spiritual growth of each child is deemed equally as important as her intellectual and scholastic abilities.
It is with utmost confidence and respect that we can recommend The Branch School to any parent seeking the same loving, peaceful, encouraging environment for their child.

Two key issues brought us to The Branch School: its commitment to honoring and respecting the unique qualities of each child; and a talented, creative and dedicated faculty.
The Branch School has mastered the art of creating a stimulating learning environment, in which the student's individual expression of talents and abilities are respected, all in the context of a strong moral foundation.
The most compelling aspect of an education at The Branch School is that it teaches by doing. The children don't just talk about or read about the Colonial American period, they dress it, they eat it, they plant it, they sew it, they become children of the Colonial period. They reflect on important topics of that time: slavery, religious freedom, treatment of children. It is a very thoughtful and thought-provoking approach to teaching and learning.
The Branch School recognizes that family, teachers, students and the community play a vital role in the learning process and embraces these opportunities.
Our family is blessed to be a part of this experience. We are so grateful that [our child] has the good fortune to be a member of this dynamic learning environment.
